Iwasaki Nagi
"Watercolour Artist from Japan"
IWASAKI Nagi (岩崎ナギ) is a Japanese Watercolor Artist. Thanks to IWS and Watercolor Friends around the world, JNAS was able to hold the 1st Japan Nadeshiko Watercolor Triennale in Kobe, Japan. They proudly selected 128 World Top Artists from 232 applicants.
They are happy that they can now make their Watercolor Times together.
They would like to mention a little about themselves. They have traveled and shared their Watercolor around the world, visiting 18 countries. In each country, they always found a lot of graffiti in the small corners of the towns.
From such experiences, they recognized that everyone wanted to record their small histories, which could not be recorded in world history.
However, these small histories are usually hidden inside the dim streets. Then, they decided to share these small histories on behalf of the people with their bright watercolor.
To show that there are many people, they use multiple directions' lights in one art piece. In theory, it means that numerous street artists painted it with each light direction, though in practice, it was painted by Nagi themself.
That's why you can find such small histories in Nagi’s art. They hope that they can share them with you in this Watercolor Times.
